Choose a starting point

This Poetry Walk can be started in either of two places: at Crissy Field Marsh, or at Mountain Lake. It then follows a 2.2-mile route through three ‘zones’, arriving at the opposite end.

After the initial intro stop, the tour will guide you to your starting point. Then it proceeds from stop to stop, where poet Kim Shuck (the 7th Poet Laureate of San Francisco) has recorded her unique combination of simple, evocative words and handmade beadwork inspired by that particular place. It is an absolutely beautiful experience.
