Historical Marker for the garrison El Presidio

About

This marker is very close to what would have been the northwest corner of the adobe garrison (EL Presidio) which the Viceroy of New Spain ordered to be built on the newly occupied land of the Ramaytush Ohlone people.

When it’s open to the public (limited days), the Officers’ Club has more of the fascinating history from the Spanish era.
